Spring and Colours - Primavera e Colori

Hi everyone!

I'm trying not to neglect my blog but as always, when spring approaches, I get plenty of new ideas I want to get done as soon as possible. 

I usually choose warm, natural and earthy tones for my ethnic and tribal style jewelry, but at this time of year colors are all around me and I just can't help using and combining them to reflect the outside environment that I feel so strongly inside of me. Even when it's about COLORS, I prefer heathered, undefined, "dusty" and natural shades that seem to all blend into one another as if they were all part of a sunny spring, summer or autumn landscape.

Here are my latest creations, super colorful and sometimes even fresh and full of spring, but the colors have that "natural", subdued effect (even if you maybe can't see this clearly in the pictures).

The cotton yarn I've been using lately is the wonderful NATURA Just Cotton DMC!

Sto cercando di non trascurare il blog, ma come ogni anno, quando è in arrivo la primavera ho un sacco di nuove idee che vorrei concretizzare il prima possibile.

Come ho più volte ripetuto, normalmente scelgo tonalità calde e naturale della terra per i miei bijoux in stile etnico-tribale, ma in questo periodo dell'anno non posso fare a meno di utilizzare anche i colori più vivi. Anche quando si tratta di COLORI, preferisco tonalità particolari, non comuni, indefinite, polverose e "naturali" che sembrano sfumare l'una nell'altra proprio come in un assolato paesaggio autunnale, primaverile o estivo.

Queste sono le ultime creazioni, coloratissime, fresche e primaverili, ma i colori (anche se forse in foto non si noterà) hanno quell'effetto "naturale" di cui vi ho appena parlato. 

Il cotone che sto usando negli ultimi tempi è il meraviglioso NATURA Just Cotton DMC!

Hi everyone! 

From today in my Etsy shop you will also find PDF CROCHET TUTORIALS by which you will be able to make lots of useful accessories with your own hands. They come with diagrams and step-by-step instructions in both english (US crochet terms) and italian. 

This is the first one, an adjustable, versatile, comfy and easy to make and to wear neck warmer. I'm using it a lot this winter and want to make it in many other colors to match with my favorite color clothes.

Ciao a tutti!

Da oggi nel mio shop Etsy troverete anche TUTORIAL UNCINETTO in PDF, con i quali sarete in grado di realizzare molti accessori utili con le vostre mani. Sono completi di diagrammi e istruzioni passo passo, sia in inglese che in italiano.

Questo è il primo, uno scaldacollo regolabile, versatile, comodo e semplice da realizzare e da indossare. Io lo sto usando molto questo inverno e vorrei realizzarlo in tanti altri colori per abbinarlo ai vestiti nei miei colori preferiti.

Una chiacchierata tra amiche: C.:"Ma chi è 'Giada Creazioni'? G.:"E io che ne so?"

Devo ammettere che mi risulta sempre un po' difficile parlare di me stessa, ma Carla è molto simpatica e rispondere alle sue domande è stato semplice e divertente.

G.: La passione per i bijoux e gli accessori mi accompagna da quando ero piccolissima. Ricordo ancora con un po' di imbarazzo quando desideravo frugare nelle borse delle donne non per scoprire cosa contenessero, ma per studiarne e ammirarne modello e fattura che avrei voluto cercare di riprodurre, anche se non avevo ancora idea di come fare. F/W 2015-16 clutches // Pochette A/I 2015-16

Hi everyone, finally I'm back with the new collection of clutches for this fall/winter 2015-16!

These are the first 8 ones, already available in my Etsy shop and a lot more are on the way. 

They are wristlet clutches/handbags and sometimes shoulder bags (or both) in boho-chic, ethnic/tribal, folk, romantic and retro styles; the materials are wool or cotton with leather, tapestry fabric, passamenterie, beads, pendants, chains inserts... 

Some of them can be customized, some others are one of a kind.

Ciao a tutti, finalmente sono tornata con la nuova collezione di pochette per questo autunno/inverno 2015/16! 

Sono le prime 8, già disponibili nel mio Etsy shop, ma ne stanno arrivando molte altre.

Si tratta di pochette da polso/borsette a mano e a volte borse a spalla (o entrambe le cose) in stile boho-chic, etnico-tribale, folk, romantico-retrò; i materiali sono lana o cotone con inserti in pelle, tessuti tappezzeria, passamaneria, pietre, pendenti e catene...

Alcune saranno personalizzabili, altre pezzi unici.
